Question 18

Amazon Free Shipping Policy

Accepted Answer

Amazon.com does offer free shipping. To qualify, customers must either be Prime members or meet the minimum purchase requirement. Prime members enjoy free two-day shipping on eligible items with no minimum purchase. Non-Prime members need to spend at least $35 on eligible items to qualify for free shipping. However, Amazon is testing a $35 free shipping minimum for people who aren’t members of the company’s Prime loyalty program. Until now, non-Prime members have been required to spend $25 to qualify for free shipping. Prime membership costs $139 a year. Under Amazon's Extended Free Shipping policy, you can enjoy free shipping on orders for 24 hours after placing an order that qualifies for free shipping. The items in your new order must be shipped by Amazon and to the same address as the qualifying order, but there is no minimum purchase amount. Please note that some items shipped to Alaska or Hawaii may not be eligible for FREE shipping. Select FREE Shipping. With free shipping, your order is delivered five to eight days after all your items are available to ship, including pre-order items. Canceling items, combining orders, or changing your shipping address, speed, or preference might affect your order's free shipping eligibility. If your order doesn't qualify for free shipping: Check eligibility. Some sellers that fulfill and ship their own inventory charge. A special product, order, or handling fee may still apply even if your order is over the stated minimum threshold of eligible items. Gift cards receive FREE One-Day shipping, but don't apply to the stated minimum threshold of eligible items. For information about international free shipping to eligible addresses, visit International Free Shipping. Note: Some sellers that fulfill and ship their own inventory charge shipping fees. These shipping fees apply even if your order is over the minimum threshold of eligible items. Go to Seller Shipping Rates for more information.

Does Amazon have a return policy?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Amazon.com does have a return policy. Many eligible items sold on Amazon.com can be returned. When you return an item, you may see different return options depending on the seller, item, or reason for return. To return an eligible item you ordered, you need to go to Your Orders to display your recent orders. Choose the order and select Return or Replace Items. Select the item you want to return, then select an option from the Reason for return menu. Choose how to process your return. If applicable, select to issue a refund or replacement. For items sold from an Amazon seller, you'll see Submit return request. The Amazon seller reviews return requests before issuing a refund or replacement. If you don't receive a response within two business days, you can request an A-to-z Guarantee Refund. Select your preferred return method, print your return label and return authorization, then package your items for return. Each return label is assigned to a specific return. To receive the correct refund, don't include items from multiple orders or shipments in the same box. All return-eligible items, weighing under 50 lbs and sold by Amazon, have at least one free return option. If you have already received a refund and are expected to return the item, you will be charged if the item is not sent back to Amazon. Question 37

Why should I shop with Amazon?

Accepted Answer

Shopping with Amazon.com offers numerous benefits. It is one of the largest retailers in the world, providing a vast selection of products at competitive prices. The cornerstone of Amazon's business model is its paid membership service, Amazon Prime, which offers a slew of benefits. These include free expedited shipping for over 100 million products, with many customers now eligible for one- and two-day shipping at no additional cost.

Other services include Prime Video, unlimited cloud photo storage, exclusive access to deals, and Prime-exclusive sales events like Prime Day. Amazon Prime members also get discounts on grocery items in Whole Foods stores. Amazon has partnered with the buy-now, pay-later credit provider Affirm, allowing customers in the U.S. to split the total cost of eligible purchases of $50 or more into monthly payments at checkout, with no late or hidden fees.

Moreover, Amazon Prime's Try Before You Buy program lets you order clothes, shoes, jewelry, and other accessories and then try them at home for free. You can easily send back anything you don’t want and you only pay for the items you keep. As a Prime member, your benefits aren't limited just to Amazon.com. You also get exclusive discounts when shopping at Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods Market, both online and in-store.

In summary, Amazon.com provides a convenient, diverse, and user-friendly shopping experience, making it a popular choice for online shoppers..

Question 38

Question 39

If you have already sent it back and have received an email from Amazon asking you to return the item or have been charged, the charge will be reversed as soon as the return is processed by Amazon.

How to Use Amazon discount codes?

Accepted Answer

To use Amazon.com discount codes, follow these steps:

Place an order on Amazon.com.
Add an eligible item to the shopping cart.
On the Select a payment method page or on the Place Your Order page of the order form, enter the promotion code in the Gift Cards and Promotional Codes section exactly as specified.
Select Apply. Don't add spaces before, inside of, or after the promotion code.
Proceed to check out.
Verify that the promotion code was applied successfully by viewing the price on the final checkout page before placing your order.

If the total cost of the items exceeds the amount of the promotion, you'll be prompted on the order form to provide another payment method for the balance. You can't use the 1-Click shopping method when redeeming a promotional claim code. If you use a promotional certificate for a purchase on Amazon.com and the order is canceled, the promotional certificate returns to you to be applied to your next order. Promotional certificates are for one-time use. If you use a promotional certificate for a purchase on Amazon.com, and the order is returned for a refund, the promotional certificate can't be used again.
